Yes more Whispers stitching this week.
There were a lot more branches this week, I was anticipating a week with lots of blocks of blue sky but it has mostly been a week of the darker blues for the branches. I’m starting to get dark dots now which I think are seed cases I think they show up more because the background blues are beginning to change to lighter shades. Another week and I think this page will be done I’m sure there’s a lot more blocks of colour coming up. Trouble is that I’m getting distracted playing a new computer game with my husband, that and there didn’t seem to be a lot of free time for sewing last week. If I can stay away from too many distractions I’m sure I’ll have another page finish to show you next week.
Then I’m going back to finish the first page of computer catastrophes which I put aside when my conscience got the better of me and sent me back to Whispers. I don’t have much of a rotation plan at the moment. Page rotations are the easiest for me to keep track of as I seem to be working out at a page roughly every two weeks so if I set it at two weeks I’ll either be leaving the page with just a little to do before I finish it. There’s something about the completeness of a finished page that I find just right for a rotation.
As well as the sewing I’ve had the urge to pick up my knitting needles again so I have found some patterns online for hats and scarves, technically it’s summer and the weather is so dry but if I get started now then I should have something finished by winter. In reality it’s to give me something to do at those times when there isn’t time to get one of by cross stitches set up (everything gets put away at the end of every session because of Grumpy Cat). I get bored sitting around with nothing to do so a bit of knitting will fill the gap nicely and the wool I’ve got for the two scarves I’ve found are lovely and colourful. Can’t wait to get started.
