It felt like a very slow month on Nightmare this month. I’ve been struggling to concentrate again and there has been sections with a lot of starting and finishing of colours.

There has been a lot of background to stitch as well which is great when I want a break from the single stitch colours. I finished pages 14 and 15 on the 10th; I was working on them together because page 15 is mostly background. Finishing those means that I have not finished the third row of pages. Just two more left to do.

Page 16 was a lot more background. I kept switching between background and foreground and I wanted to continue the background down into pages 21 which I didn’t manage to do because they kept pace with each other. I managed to finish page 16 on the 21st which was the last day of rotation for this piece.

The plan for November is to switch between page 17 and page 21 going between background and foreground. I’ll work some of the foreground and then do a length of thread on the background of page 21. The last row of pages is mostly background and I really don’t fancy leaving that to do all in one go.
