Sewing has been incredibly slow since the start of the year but my blogging has been slower. I started the year with page 38 of Whispers and I did manage to get it finished fairly quickly but even though I got the picture taken I never got round to updating the blog. So above is a picture of page 38.
Since then I’ve done a tiny bit on Santa Owl but not enough to finish a page, it was just a little green break away from all of those blues. Progress has been slow on Into the Sea as well, I’ve hit a deceptive area where there’s actually a lot of colour changes so a lot of my lunch hour is spent switching colours. I don’t think I’m far off a page finish on that one so there should be an update picture soon.
Santa Owl didn’t stay out for very long because I wanted to get back to Whispers and page 39. Again this page took longer than I had hoped. I’m not sure why that happened, the flowers have a lot of different colours in them but I just seemed to struggle to get into it. Perhaps it’s just knowing that I’m getting to the point where I can say that I’m on the last two rows of pages or because it’s January and my sewing corner feels cold and there’s no natural light for evening stitching.

Page 39 is finished now and I can say that I’m getting ready to start page 40 and it feels like a bit of a milestone. I’m on page 40 of 56 and that sounds like there isn’t really that many pages left to stitch.

Whispers looks amazing =) I never payed so much attention to the flowers in her dress, but they look amazing! That’s something I really love about HaeDs, they always surprise you with the small details =)
