The restart of Santa Owl continues to go well.  After completing the hat and the top right page of the owl I switched over to the left to complete the top row of pages.  I’m only working on him on weekend mornings every other month and those mornings are easily interrupted.  I had planned some time during a few days off work but I think I only spent one morning on him instead of the four planned.

I wasn’t a very big page as I could leave out the background but there are a lot of different sections of colours and I have to concentrate as I work around his edge removing the background as I go.  Next I’m planning to stitch the page directly below this one before stitching the page to the left of that.  It will be too easy to make counting errors if I jump to the far left page.  Plus part of me wants to get his other eye done.
