A Little Light Reading has been worked on regularly this year. It is in the same monthly slot as Unicorn – and now Nightmare – so it gets the remaining days of the month devoted to it. Here we are at the beginning of the year. I’m stitching this one by page but rather than working across the rows of pages I’m working them diagonally in order to break up having to stitch the blanket that the dragling is sitting under. I think cream is my least favourite colour.

January 6,931 stitches 10 days. I finished off the page with the book that I had been working on and then it was back to the top to being the next diagonal. I went from a big block of purple to the blocks of cream.

March 6,400 stitches 10 days. For some reason I decided to finish off the top row of pages, it was just a fairly small partial page to stitch and I listened to a lot of audiobook, The top row is done and I’m back stitching a bit more dragling. This row of pages also has a lot of cream blanket but I’m going back to diagonal pages.

May 5,942 stitches 11 days. Got a lot done on the dragling. The face is nearly done and I got to move onto the next page and got a lot of the tummy section done as well. Nearly finished this page and I’m hoping to reach 50% complete soon.
