Mini Lost in You has been put on hold for a while at least until I can figure out what to do with all of that white. So instead I’ve been working on Whispers, page 19 otherwise known as ‘face page’. Actually it turned out to be full of confetti page and because I didn’t have as much stitching time as I would have liked it took a bit longer to finish. Well not that long really because 8 days for a page is still really quick. Possibly the television being flooded with football had something to do with it.
So here’s how she’s looking with 19 pages complete. Not the best picture but the light isn’t great and I think I should have used the better camera. Her face looks really good, better than I was expecting it to turn out as it’s so small in relation to the whole picture. I think I spent a good deal of my time cutting lengths of new colours and adding needles to my organiser. That flower in her hair is so detailed.
I’ve taken a close up shot of her face too. So now that I’ve reached this milestone I’ve decided to focus my attention a bit more, I’d really like to get halfway through this piece before the end of the year. To reach that goal I can’t really work on so many different pieces so I’m going to swap between Whispers and Couch Dragon for a while. I haven’t worked on Couch Dragon for ages and because I’m working that on the q-snaps it means I can leave Whispers on the big stand and switch between the two a lot easier.
