Are you meant to let sleeping dragons lie?  Another week on Train of Dreams and I’m roughly halfway through page 7 now.  There was a little bit of excitement as the nose of the sleeping dragon began to appear and then last night I finished his face.  One of the wonderful things with these designs is the way that you can spend ages putting in a stitch here and a stitch there, changing colours just for a stitch that seems to be out of place.  Then you put in the final stitch in a section before stepping back and seeing how it’s all come together to make something so detailed.  The final steam dragon is also in place, just a few more trails of it going over the next book and that confetti area will be complete.

I’m going to be spending a couple more weeks on the Train and hopefully be close to finishing the page by the end of next weekend.  I’ve finally ordered a frame for my Faces of Faery and fingers crossed that will arrive next week, I’ve chosen light colours, similar to those in her wings, to frame her with.  If all goes well I may have a picture to share with you next week.
