Finally I’ve finished page 21 of Computer Catastrophes!
It wasn’t the actual stitching that took so long, my page on this has been disrupted by a very chilly stitching area. I have my chair and my stand set up in front of the window so that I can make the most of the natural light. No matter how good your stitching lamp is nothing can beat sunlight. The trouble is that when the weather gets cold that area gets coldest first and sewing stops being fun. I’ve moved my stand now and settled into a warmer part of the room which is away from the window and the natural light, it isn’t perfect but it does at least allow me to carry on with some sewing and on Monday I got back to page 21.
I had also made a start on page 22 and the dreaded block of blue. I stitched a strand or two of blue in between working the colour changing areas on page 21. It worked well and the blue is mostly finished, still a few rows but I can get there. I think that this will be my last page finish of the year, I have over half a page to stitch and the keyboard was very slow stitching. I’ve already decided that this will be my focus piece for next year, it’s about time it was finished.
