A Little Light Reading was my Christmas Day new start. I have been wanting to stitch another of the Randal Spangler draglings for a little while and even though they do appear in Trick or Treat they’re all the way at the bottom of the stitching and it’s going to take me years to reach that part. So for christmas 2018 I was treated to a material pack from Heaven and Earth Designs and it would have been rude not to start it.

There isn’t a lot to see at the moment. The entire top row is the sheet that the dragling is underneath trying to read her book. The creams, peaches and light pinks are not my favourite colours for stitching either so to break it up my plan is going to be to work diagonal pages rather than working them in number order. Page 1 is done and I made a start on page 2, once that page is done I’ll be stitching the page underneath page 1 rather than moving onto page 3. That means I’ll be breaking up the pages with their blocks of colour and mixing them up with the brighter confetti filled sections.
