Couch Dragon update this week and I’ve finished pages 7 and 13 so I’ve now got the full width and height in which also means that I can see how much I have left to do to get this one finished.
There isn’t a lot really just four full size pages and six partial pages so I’ve made the decision to stop rotating projects to concentrate on this one. I feel a lot better when I don’t have so many to divide my time between so I’m going to try to get some finishes going to allow me to concentrate on just a couple. That’s the plan anyway.
It’s taken about two weeks to get these pages done so I’m hoping that I can have the whole thing finished this year, it should be early December but things are getting busy which just eats up sewing time and I’m dividing my evening times anyway with computer games and writing so I’ll be happy with getting it done by the end of the year.
This page was pretty mad with the confetti too, there’s a lot of colours in that stack of papers and then I had a nice blocky area until I hit that rug. I’ve had a quick look at the next page, the top half seems gentle enough with most of it being the couch and cushions the bottom will be more confetti fun with that rug and possibly some coffee table too.
This project is so appropriate for me though, whatever chair I occupy around the house I seem to gather story books, notebooks, paper and the odd bag with a sewing project in it. Grumpy cat doesn’t go for the back of the chair though he likes to sit wherever is most inconvenient.

You are making awesome progress on this one =)
I think you are quite fast if you can stitch one complete and a partial page in two weeks so I am very confident that you will be able to finish this this year =)
Looking fab Nicola!
Don’t blame you for wanting to stick to it for a while!
Happy Stitching! xx
