Early on this month I completed the first 50 rows on page 3 so I’m now all the way across the project. It also meant that I got to move the hoop back to page 1 to work on the second set of 50 rows which will take me down through the first page. I’ve also stitched the very top of the lotus lantern that she is carrying.
It also means that I get to work on more of the background blues an possibly a tiny bit on Yexian herself. For now though I’m glad to be away from those cream colours. Blue is my favourite colour to stitch with so I’m really enjoying working on the background and the way the colours swirl around makes it an interesting stitch.
I will continue to work on this each month but now that I will be spending two days a week in the office I don’t really have much time for stitching in the mornings which means at some point I may consider adjusting the rotation to allow me to spend more time on her.
Monthly stitch totals for August 3,145 stitches over 20 days.
