This page feels like it has really dragged. It could be the changing season slowdown that I seem to get or just being busier with other bits and pieces taking my time. But finally the page is finished.
I’m blaming it on the fabric that is in the hoop, some very similar colours together feeling like a block of stitching. I’m much quicker when I get to the bright colours. There aren’t many details on this page apart from the little skeins of floss. Just across from the blue skein is part of the arm of the stitcher on the next page across.
But I can now see the colour schemes of three of the four shelves. Purple spring, green summer and red autumn. On the next page which will be the page underneath there will be more of the reds.
I’m having a bit of an experiment with the rotation. I seem to not make so much progress on the second week so I’m going to have a month of switching week by week to see if that feels any different at all.

Sometimes some pages seem to drag more than others, but I also start off all guns blazing then I start to meander off and lose interest. I used to have a strict one page rotation, but I changed about a year ago to working on something as long as I wanted to, if I got fed up with if after a few days I’d move on, if I was still loving it two pages on I’d keep going. If I lose interest I get slower and eventually I’ll just stop, so I figured that was the best way for me, I have a strict (other than I keep adding more things in) order rotation, but the amount of time I spend is much more flexible.
It does look gorgeous though, this is on my too start list for the next couple of years
