One of the things I often find is that there just isn’t enough time in the day and I’m always certain that I could get so much more done if I had more sewing time. Over the past year I’ve been making the most of lunch hour at work to squeeze in a little extra sewing time. At first it was with QS Arthur and once he was finished I decided to swap back to Into The Sea which was my original lunch hour project.
The blocks of colour that would normally bore me become the perfect thing to do during a limited amount of time. They’re much easier to pick up and put down. To make it even easier to keep a track of where I am I even started stitching one colour at a time, and I’m really enjoying it. I’ve even reached the point where I try to stitch an hour or two on it at the weekend to keep the time up on it. I can’t remember how long page four took me to complete but it only felt like a few weeks. I’ve started page 5 now and perhaps I’ll keep a better track of time spent on it.
