Something a little different now, I’ve had a bit of a reorganisation of the blog to tidy up the top menu a little. When you go into the Cross Stitching drop down it will just show the pieces that are in progress and show you all of the posts about those. At the bottom of the page there’s a menu with some of the finishes on if you’d like to read all of the posts about their progress.
You’ll also notice the Facebook link at the side. I’ve set up a page to go with the blog, more pictures and less waffle, so if you want to see even more pictures of my sewing and knitting then give the page a like.
I’ve made room at the top to include menus for my knitting and newest of all posts about my cardmaking. Cardmaking is one of the many things that I used to do years ago, then I stopped. Now I’ve re-discovered my love of colouring and discovered lots of new things to colour with. Copic Pens and Distress Inks are the mediums I’m currently learning to use.
So for my first card post in the card making section of the blog I thought I’d share something I made Monday night
It’s a digital stamp from Tiddly Inks and I’ve coloured her using copics (I’ve been learning to colour with copics using online lessons from Kit and Clowder). I had a hard time deciding what papers to use for the card but I’m really pleased with my selection. A little spray of flowers finishes her off.
