I have another small stitching completed.  Part 2 in the Blackbird Designs Garden club series called Apple Orchard.

I started it for the first Friday Off The Grid Stitch In where the aim is to stitch from 6pm until midnight.  I had everything planned, made a start and then grumpy cat wasn’t well so stitching was abandoned to look after him.  He was better on the Saturday so I did the stitch in then and made such good progress that a couple more evenings saw me get this block finished.

The intention was to leave 4 blank stitches between the blocks but I counted from the wrong point and gave myself 3 but by the time I had noticed I didn’t feel like unpicking it and it looked just fine with 3 spaces.  I have to remember to leave 3 spaces for all of the other blocks though.

I may start part 3 this weekend, it’s made up of two narrow pictures and seems to have a lot more colours than the previous 2 designs
